Many models of real physical objects have systems of partial differential equations as their basis. Dependencies in such equations are very often nonlinear and it is necessary to receive solution taking of these nonlinearities into account.
An analytical investigation of such model is quite difficult due to absence of complete general approach to investigation of nonlinear problems.
Mathematical methods usually applied are often so complicated that one can easily lose subject of physical phenomenon. Simultaneously a simplifying assumptions often lead to losing of interesting solutions.
In case, when there are problems with analytic investigation of a certain task, it is possible to apply a numerical approach allowing to find the solution with enough accuracy.
